MET Group Technical successfully delivered a fully isolated LV maintenance programme at a major global banking group within the Southeast of England, working alongside the appointed FM team. The shutdown concluded after months of planning and technical meetings between the client, FM and MET Group Technical. Working alongside the FM management & technical teams, we offered a service strategy that suited the time contestants and critical aspect of the site.

MET Group Technical Ltd fully maintained over 11 major LV switchboards, including 2x main incoming panels, UPS input & output panels, PDUs and several critical, essential & non-essential switchboards. The service required full intrusive maintenance of the ACBs & MCCBs, including secondary injection testing of all auto devices. The switchboards & switchrooms were cleaned to a high standard, and all bar connections within the panels were re-torqued to the manufacturer's recommended settings & double marked.

Alongside the switchgear servicing, MET Group Technical Ltd supplied a team to maintain all the busbars within the building, including all tap-off units (TOU) & associated breakers. This gave the client confidence that the busbar system was in good health and ready to support the additional office space upgrade planned for 2027.
