Throughout October, engineers from MET Group Technical and MET Group Sonic Trace visited sites in the UK and Europe to conduct testing on some of the world's most vital facilities for life and business.
The inspections conducted across 36 facilities uncovered more than 278 issues that could have eventually resulted in critical failures, with 107 of these issues being pre-thermal anomalies.
As leaders in the industry, we come across both new and existing busbar installations that have remained untested for years and are often mentioned as a limitation in numerous EICRs. Additionally, we identify many Tap-off units that are close to failing due to poor connections caused by vibration or inadequate installation.
A busbar inspection ensures your electrical infrastructure is operating efficiently without the need for isolation.
